Lying Down Work – Putting Money into the Bank Account of Youth
Our AT teacher Simon has a super easy method for reducing muscle tension in your back and shoulders:
If you have a sore back or tense shoulders lie down on the floor, put some books under your head so your chin is not pointing to the ceiling or pushed into the throat, have your knees bent and pointing up to the ceiling, feet hip width apart, lie there for up to 15 mins.
Enjoy the feeling of the curves in your back being lengthened out by the action of gravity and all the tension in your muscles melting away.
