Niel-Asher Technique (NAT)
Niel Asher Technique utilises deep stroking and compression on to trigger points to relieve pain and improve flexibility.
It was developed by Osteopath Simeon Niel Asher in 1999 to treat Frozen Shoulder.
Frozen Shoulder typically takes 12 months or more to resolve and is characterised by intense pain and stiffness around the shoulder.
NAT seems to speed up the progress of the condition and in many cases gives pain relief after just a few sessions. It works well alongside a program of stretching and exercise.
Niel Asher Technique & Exercise can also be applied to a variety of shoulder conditions including rotator cuff injury.
We offer Niel Asher Technique as part of Osteopathy appointments with Sarah.
