Kinesiology Tape (K-Tape)

Kinesiology tape is used to manage pain and facilitate movement.

The tape is very stretchy so it moves with your skin and doesn’t restrict your flexibility.  It is often applied to painful areas to give the sensation of support and therefore eases pain.

K-tape uses hypoallergenic glue and is wearable for 5-7 days.  It is sweat and water resistant so you can exercise and bathe as normal.

K-tape is used as an adjunct to other therapies.  We don’t offer it as a stand-alone treatment, as for safe and optimal results we need to take a thorough case history and examination and utilise our full range of therapeutic interventions.
