Kinesiology tape is used to manage pain and facilitate movement.
The tape is very stretchy so it moves with your skin and doesn’t restrict your flexibility. It is often applied to painful areas to give the sensation of support and therefore eases pain.
K-tape uses hypoallergenic glue and is wearable for 5-7 days. It is sweat and water resistant so you can exercise and bathe as normal.
K-tape is generally used as an adjunct to other therapies. For safe and optimal results we need to take a thorough case history and examination and utilise our full range of therapeutic interventions.

Tim Hawes
Podiatrist
Qualifications: BSc, MCFHP
Professional Body: Health and Care Professions Council, HCPC (CH33038).
Tim believes that it is muscle functioning that governs joint position and efficiency of movement.
He works to achieve equilibrium in the muscle systems, improving movement patterns, enhancing function and alleviating many problems in the feet which stem from imbalances in the lower limb.
