MONDAY

Go for a bank holiday walk.  Try Hollow Pond, High Beech, Walthamstow Marshes or the Olympic Park.

We challenge you to do 10,000 steps!

 

TUESDAY

Are your shoulders feeling a bit stiff? Is your back achy?  It’s time for a few stretches.  Follow the links: Neck, Back, Shoulders.

We challenge you to spend 5 minutes stretching.

 

WEDNESDAY

What have you had to drink today?  Headaches, tiredness and poor concentration can all be signs of dehydration.

We challenge you to drink a litre today – water, squash, herbal tea, whatever you fancy.

 

THURSDAY

Let’s talk about diets.  Not for weight loss, but for nutrition.  Every single cell in your body is made from something you’ve eaten, so if your diet is inadequate it is impossible to be well.  A good way to improve your diet is to add extra healthier foods.  This is much easier than cutting out treats!

We challenge you to make and eat a smoothie or salad.

 

FRIDAY

As it’s the end of the week we think it’s a good time to think about rest.  Relaxation, rest and good quality sleep are super important for your health.

We challenge you to spend 10 minutes on this relaxation video.
