We have around 30 therapists here at Ashlins so it can be tricky to keep up with who’s who.
Today we’re getting to know Podiatrist Kibri a little bit better.

Name: Kibri Dei
What therapies do you offer?
I’m Musculoskeletal Podiatrist and Posturologist with a special interest in treating patients with musculoskeletal problems related to abnormal gait and poor foot posture.
When and where did you train?
I have a BSc in Podiatric Medicine from Florence University. I qualified in 2009.
I went on to gain a PGDip in Lower limb pathomechanics in 2010 and MSc Posturology (Postural imbalance) in 2012, both from Barcelona University.
Why did you decide to become PODIATRIST/POSTUROLOGIST
I always had an interest to understand how the human body works and adapts itself. From this I decide to take the medical field to help patients with musculoskeletal issues.
Many musculoskeletal conditions respond very well through a full gait analysis, biomechanical and postural assessment. Based on this I provide a custom supportive orthotics (insole) followed with appropriate strengthening and stretching exercises.
It is always a privilege to help improve someone’s quality of life, and that’s what I really love about my job.
Describe your therapy in 10 words:

Tell us a joke:
