Ashlins Natural Health has been helping people in Walthamstow discover Complementary Health and Natural Medicine since 1994. We offer an extensive range of treatments that can help with many different ailments and injuries.

But you don’t have to be ill! Many complementary therapies are also well known for their preventive medicinal effects, for stress relief, relaxation, and for that great feeling of being pampered.

Our dedicated team of approximately 30 therapists practice in a friendly and relaxed environment. They will treat you holistically rather than just  alleviating the symptoms.

The Ashlins Story – 20 Years of Natural Health in East London

Our story began in the early 80s, when faced with a long-term family illness, Ed Housden (Co-Founder) and his wife began to study allergies and sensitivities.

Eventually coming to realise the amazing importance of what we eat, all of the family changed to a wholefood diet and cut out foods each were sensitive to.  This resulted in dramatic improvements in health.

To assist with sensitivity testing they joined one of the early Kinesiology muscle testing courses in January 1987. This was run by Brian Butler who had brought recently discovered techniques to Britain from the United States and set up the Association of Systematic Kinesiology.

They investigated and tried other natural or alternative therapies that didn’t have any side effects. These often produced very beneficial results.

The family wanted to share their discoveries with everyone, leading to the birth of Ashlins Natural Health Clinic.

Once the clinic was up and running, Ed completed the two year diploma course in Kinesiology, learning the latest techniques which can help a wide range of emotional, physical and dietary related problems, pains and illnesses.  Ed has been practising at Ashlins since 1997.

Since opening in 1994, Ashlins has become known as an oasis of calm in the heart of Walthamstow, offering a range of top quality natural therapies.  Ashlins has expanded from just a few therapy rooms to a large clinic of 7 rooms and 30 therapists, open 7 days a week.

2014 marks Ashlins’ 20th anniversary of providing quality natural health care to the Walthamstow community – truly a cause for celebration!
