Case study
Sophie (not her real name) is a 22 year-old who contacted me to help her with the panic attacks she was suffering from.
The panic attacks began a few days following an incident whilst she was travelling on public transport.

They initially occurred approximately twice each week particularly when away from home, in crowds, or when she was travelling on public transport.
She experienced anxiety symptoms and her thoughts were: “I’m suffocating, my heartbeat is too fast, I’m feeling dizzy, shaking, losing control”.
Due to the increasing frequency of her panic attacks, Sophie began to avoid social situations and she stopped using public transport. She started to isolate herself at home for fear “of not suffering a panic attack leading to a heart attack”.
When Sophie contacted me, she was feeling very negative about her situation and she felt that she would suffer with this anxiety forever.
We had a short telephone assessment to help me understand her and to gain a deeper understanding of the issue.
Following our phone call, I devised a bespoke programme of sessions to help her overcome panic attacks successfully in the shortest time possible.
I used a combination of my signature Neuro Linguistic Programming Techniques with Psychology-based sessions to help Sophie to gain a logical and conscious understanding of her anxiety, to show her what role she was playing both consciously and subconsciously with her ongoing panic attacks.
We worked together to provide Sophie with the skills and mindset that she required to let go of the panic attacks and to enable her to re-direct her subconscious mind to create positive changes.
